In loving memory of

CATHY BAKER

January 17, 1956 - April 10, 2026

Her Story

Cathy Baker passed away at the age of 70, on April 10th, surrounded by her family, listening to the Rolling Stones.

Cathy married Larry in 1984, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, travel, and countless memories. Originally from Chicago, she moved to Cincinnati in 1987, where she created a life centered around family and friendships. She was an incredible mother to Beth, Brooke, and Wyatt, and truly showed up for her family and friends in every way. She was the person you could always count on and had a way of making everything feel easy and fun.

She lived her life with a sense of joy and humor that touched everyone around her. An eternal optimist, she brought lightness and perspective to every situation. She will be remembered for her deep love of her family, her close friendships, her beloved book club, her amazing cooking, her passion for travel, and her love of her animals. She was a loyal friend and a thoughtful listener, with a knack for giving great advice, always knowing just what to say.

She was incredibly strong, facing life with resilience and grace. Even in her final moments, her advice was simple and true to who she was: enjoy every day.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Baker, and her children, Beth, Brooke (Alex Elsener), and Wyatt.

Her love and memory will be carried forward by her family and friends every day. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 24th at Losantiville Country Club, Cincinnati, Ohio from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
